A later reprint of one of the many collaborations between architects Werner Blaser (1924-2019) and Mies van der Rohe (1886-1969), with van der Rohe granting Blaser permission to use his original German texts for the book in a 1964 letter. The work was first published in 1965, and Blaser notes that the only changes in this edition (and the 1993 German edition) are a slightly expanded appendix as well as new photographs of the ?outstanding buildings in their present setting?.
