Ampia veduta della città di Genova e del porto ripresi nei pressi del terrazzo di Palazzo Doria. Sulla sinitra, tra gli edifici cittadini che affacciavano direttamente sul porto si riconosce il campanile della Cattedrale di S. Lorenzo. Il panorama è animato in primo piano, nell'angolo in basso a sinistra, da una scena di vita qu…otidiana in cui alcune persone hanno nei cesti prodotti destinati alla vendita. L'incisione è impreziosita da affasciante coloritura coeva all'acquerello e tempera con ampi rialzi alla gomma. Leggerissima piega che interessa l'angolo in alto a sinistra che non compromette l'ottimo stato di conservazione dell'opera. Autore: Chapuy dis - Monthelier lith. Luogo: Genova. Anno: 1840 ca.
