Cloth. Condizione: Good. No Jacket. First Edition. For extra pictures of the more valuable books, please press the 'Ask Bookseller A Question' button. Packed weight = 01.80kg. Our website shows the postage options and costs. 196 pages. There are numerous coloured plates of water colour sketches by Margaret Waterfield in generally excellent clean bright condition. Unusually the text pages have very little sign of foxing. The plain end papers have the usual browning. Some marks to the boards. The gold on the front board and spine are clear and distinct with some dulling to spine. The board have some small marks and the corners are lightly bumped. T.e.g. Deckle edges. The bottom right of the rear board is stained with some marks on the rear pastedown and the rear free end paper. There is a small amount of damage to the bottom corner of the last page of the index. In other respects the book is very good. In addition the book has an iteresting dedication on the front pastedown - from Margaret april 1905. Unfrotunately I do not have an example of margaret Waterfield's handwriting to check whether this is her signature. This would be an intersting research project. Size: 8" - 10.5" Tall. Waterfield, Margaret (illustratore).
