Norman Dilworth, è stato un artista inglese, nato a…Orrell, UK, il cui lavoro, sistematico, costruttivista e concreto è stato esposto e apprezzato soprattutto nell'Europa continentale, dove è presente in numerose collezioni nazionali. Durante gli anni Cinquanta, Dilworth fu una figura importante nell'arte contemporanea, esponendo nelle Young Contemporaries Exhibitions nel 1953, 1954 e 1955 e nella John Moores Exhibition nel 1959. Il lavoro di Dilworth divenne associato all'arte cinetica e nel 1966 prese parte a una mostra insieme a Bridget Riley e Michael Kidner alla Herbert Art Gallery, Coventry. Nel 1980, Dilworth partecipò alla curatela della mostra Pier+Ocean , in cui il suo lavoro fu incluso insieme ad altri artisti del Constructionist e del System Group. Questa importante mostra collettiva esplorò la relazione tra l'arte costruttivista, la Land art, l'Arte povera, il Minimalismo ed il Concettualismo.Quando Dilworth si trasferì da Amsterdam a Lille nel 2002 lo Stedelijk Museum di Amsterdam organizzò una mostra d'addio.
