Grüssen. Ich war damals gar nicht in Stgt. sondern erhielt diese Memoiren erst auf Umwegen vor kurzer Zeit. Um die Zeit seines Todes war ich ganz in seiner Nähe in Bayrischzell und auf meinem Programm stand nach Beendigung meiner Kur nach Siegsdorf zu fahren. Sie können sich kaum vorstellen wie traurig ich war, diesen Besuch nicht früher ausgeführt zu haben. Bis mich die Nachricht ereilte, war er längst begraben [.]".
