Wer kann nun noch mit Sicherheit entscheiden, ob der Dichter bei der Niederschrift der Meistersingerdichtung dieses Wort neugebildet hat oder ob er sich erinnerte, es im zweiten Teile des Faust gelesen zu haben ? So steht es aber noch mit vielen Wörtern, namentlich solchen, welche sich in den mhd. Quellen nachweisen lassen. Felix Ott war der 1888 geborene Sohn des Bürgermeisters Alfred Ott in Sinzig und damit der Bruder von Eugen Ott (geb. 1890 in Sinzig), siehe Wikipedia-Artikel.
