The front cover shows an elderly couple in the front door of a log cabin with a cowgirl on a horse in front. The first story is, "A Cavern Calamity".

Inside the binding is heavily shaken, webbing showing, leaves loose, one torn. Three full colour plates present. Internally poor - but the boards are excellent. Book.

Contains printed pages of text with full-page colour plates and monochrome illustrations throughout, some of which have been coloured-in. Front hinge cracked and repaired, the covers have been protected in thick brown paper, now removed, and revealing a clean and fresh illustration around the book and with only very minimal rubbing to the corners.
