One small piece of tape at head of spine. A Good Copy. A. Merritt's Fantasy Magazine was a pulp fantasy magazine. The first issue appeared in December 1949. The magazine was named after the popular fantasy writer, A. Merritt, who had passed away in 1943. While the magazine's publisher, Popular Publications, had hoped to capitalize on the success of Merritt, only five issues of the magazine were published. The last issue of the magazine appeared in October 1950. This is the first issue that was published in December 1949. The following are in this issue: a feature book-length novel, "Creep, Shadow!," by A.
