In good (plus) condition overall. Illustrations are vibrant and text clear. Some pages exhibit small flaw such as a tear or worn edges, or minor marks. Occasional loosely bound page.  A most attractive bound set which beautifully encapsulates the spirit of an era. Text in French. Dimensions: approx 390mm high x 270mm wide x 20mm deep. This is a special copy printed for Dr. Paul Aime. Prospectus laid in, with a specimen etching from the book. 8vo. Attractively bound in contemporary decorated boards highlighted with gold dust. Original wrappers bound in. Top edge gilt, other edges uncut. Barely noticeable wear to extremities of binding, original wraps somewhat discolored due to contact with acidic binder's leaves, else fine. A very attractive copy of a very attractive book.
