Auflage, mit vielen farbigen Bildern, erzählt wird die Geschichte eines Bauern, der ein Krokodil vor den Jägern rettet und zum Fluß trägt, weil es ihm dafür Fische verspricht, am Fluß jedoch lockt das hinterlistige Krokodil den Bauern ins Wasser und packt ihn am Bein, um ihn zu fressen. Der Bauer bitte den Hasen um Hilfe, der… das Krokodil wieder an Land lockt, angeblich um den Streit der beiden zu schlichten, in Wahrheit aber, um das an Land träge Krokodil zu überlisten und den Bauern zu retten, etwas gebrauchsspurig (innen tws. leicht fleckig und wenige kleine Randeinrisse, Einband etwas fleckig und an den Ecken bestossen), insgesamt noch schönes Exemplar des seltenen Kinderbuches.
