Neuware - This conclusion to A Fleeting Improvised Man continues to chronicle DJ's rollicking adventure on the path to enlightenment. As a spiritual warrior, DJ goes bravely wherever that may lead. The book is part spiritual memoir, part pragmatic guide on transcending the ego and is both enter- taining and spiritually insightful. This is a rare, step by step accounting of the journey to liberation in the manner Buddha or the non-dual tradition prescribes. If you seek an end to your journey, want to learn about the ultimate nature of reality or yearn to discover the joy, peace and power of presence only the stillness of no-self can bring, then this quest to awaken will be of interest.A funky Tibetan Buddhist retreat centre on a secluded little island off the Canadian coast serves as the setting for an often humorous but ultimately no-holds barred expose that excels at demythologizing the mystical.Ever the iconoclast, DJ eventually comes to discern the Truth or embody non-duality through the aid of protracted 'true meditation' practice and self-inquiry. This unimaginable foray into the unknown proves that truth on occasion can indeed be stranger than fiction.
