Budzinski war einer der drei bekanntesten Kostümbildner Berlins und arbeitete u.a. in freier Mitarbeit für die Kostümfirma Bruno Pruschinski. Bis 1919 war es üblich, das Bühnendarsteller, vor allem weibliche, ihre Kostüme selbst beschaffen mußten und so schuf Budzinski u.a. Kostüme für die Tänzerinnen Saharet und La Belle Otéro, für diverse Berliner Theater und die Königliche Oper. Die "Luxus-Werkstätten Pruschinski", die er 1912 übernommen hatte und weiterführte gingen aber während der Weltwirtschaftskrise 1930 in Konkurs. Bald darauf verkaufte Budzinski seine um die 3000 Bühnenkostüme umfassende Sammlung an das Berliner Kunstgewerbemuseum. Er starb 1950 fast vergessen in Berlin. Sprache: de.
