A children's morality tale, written with the intention to teach children that they should always trust God and do what is right. The story surrounds an important journey, filled with situations to overcome and people to help along the way. Written by the Rev. Norman Macleod, a Scottish clergyman and author, who served as Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland in 1869-70. Macleod wrote the moral tale for his own children, to instill notions of right and wrong. Illustrated with seven plates, a frontispiece and additional vignette engravings. Collated, complete.
