In the original price-clipped dustwrapper. 'Another Self' is James Lees-Milne's autobiography, documenting his time at Eton, his experience during World War II, working as private secretary to the 1st Baron Lloyd, to his breaking into his writing career. Illustrated with a frontispiece by Reynolds Stone. Lees-Milne is a well known author, and expert on country houses, working for the National Trust from 1936 to 1973. He was also a good friend of the Mitfords. In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original price-clipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. A couple of light spots to the fore edge. Dustwrapper with a couple of light marks. Price sticker to the front flyleaf. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Near Fine. book.
