Gilt ornament on front cover, quite nice, appearing to be a sword stabbing downward, into and through a handsomely bound book, and with the Latin term Noi Leggeuamo. The binding is a brown linen cloth over text-block, some splitting of thin fabric along joints, but still remarkably sturdy, and with some brown cloth ties sewn in front and rear with which to tie fore-edge closed.
