Levis as the Research Coordinator. The book is illustrated with many, many black-and-white and color photographs (admittedly - mostly black-and-white). The book appears to have been published by the Central Electric Railfans' Association in 1975. It is NOT an ex-library copy and both the book and the dust jacket are in very good condition . . . particularly given its nearly 50 year old age. (On the dust jacket - at the top of the spine - there IS a darker orange stain as if something was once spilled on it then quickly sopped up) The book is 8 3/4" by 11 1/4" and has 304 GLOSSY pages with a Table of Contents and the fore-mentioned illustrations . . . and laid in are seven of the "trolley systems" (don't quite know how to state what they are) and their routes . . . each of these is glossy and about 22" by 17". "As time passed the Iowa trolleys became more and more a living reminder of the past. Some even fell that collectively these lines were the last traditional interurbans." It's quite the well done vintage transportation collector's item. What an effort! Thank you!
