La prefazione senza titolo e firmata Marinetti, Benedetta, Azari e Fillia è alternata alle belle riproduzioni da Fillia, Azari, Depero, Prampolini, Balla, Russolo, Boccioni, Dottori: dopo un cappello introduttivo apparentemente inedito, che aggiorna sull'attività futurista del 1927 (Panthomime futuriste, Novatore dancing, palazzo del Corriere Padano a Ferrara, libreria futurista in via Montenapoleone decorata da Baldessari.), il testo corrisponde al manifesto di Benedetta «Sensibilità futurista» (presentato al primo congresso futurista, pubblicato su «L'Ambrosiano» 10.12.1924 e poi in Vetrina futurista 1927). «Prima delle grandi rassegne futuriste milanesi organizzate dalla Galleria Pesaro, fondamentali occasioni per fare di volta in volta il punto sull'evoluzione della ricerca futurista dall'ambito dell'immaginazione 'meccanica' (qui prevalente) a quello della proiezione 'aeropittorica' e 'cosmica'» (NAF).
