First edition of this Swedish translation.Complete two volume set, bound in a half-morocco binding on marbled boards by Panorstedt & Soners.Illustrated with tipped-in colour frontispieces to each of the volumes, as well as numerous illustrated colour plates by Ferdinand Schultz-Wettel (1872-1957).This is a lovely Swedish translation of Casanova's 'Histoire de ma vie', or, 'History of My Life'. This work was both a memoir and autobiography, in which the author describes his life through to 1774, puttin ga 'happy face on his days of loneliness'.
