Erste Ausgabe dieser Dichtungen der Hamburger Weißwarenkaufmannsgattin B. B. M. Speyer (1827 - 1914), herausgegeben von ihrem Manne. Das "Buch voll kleiner bunter Lieder, Für den Verwandten- u…nd den Freundeskranz" enthält am Anfang einen Text "Wie ich zum Dichten kam" (selbstverständlich gereimt). Wortreicher hat wohl kaum noch jemand den Anlaß seiner Dichterkarriere (deren Beginn in einem Geburtstagsgedicht für Schwester Jettchen bestand) umschrieben. Nichts und Niemand blieb unbedichtet - Frau Speyer war ein stets munter sprudelnder Quell von Versen.- Beiliegend ein gedrucktes Werbeblatt für den Band, handschriftlich ergänzt wohl von der Autorin.- Vgl.
