Published in Cardiff by the Western Mail Limited in 1898 this is the First Edition in book form of this collection of cartoons of The Welsh Coal Strike of 1898, which originally appeared in The Western Mail & Evening Express Newspapers, a large format paperback measuring 11 inches by 8.5 inches approx., 56 pages, plus a further two cartoons tipped in at rear, the covers are marked with some creasing wear, internally book is complete, though a previous owner has removed the rusted staples, so pages and covers are loose from each other , internally noticeable page corner creasing wear to lower page corners throughout, with some marking and dustiness to page corners.
