Aggiungi al carrelloPaperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. This book explores the history of commerce among Arctic Coast Eskimo communities in the early 20th century, a topic on which little scholarly research has been published. Beginning with a look at the geographic, climatological, and social factors that influenced how these communities engaged in trade, the author presents a detailed account of the various trade routes that were established, the goods that were exchanged, and the relationships between different groups. In addition to providing a wealth of historical information, the book also offers valuable insights into the cultural practices and economic systems of these fascinating Arctic peoples. Overall, this well-researched and engagingly written book is a significant contribution to the study of Arctic history and culture. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.
