The attractive blue cloth is in excellent shape, tight and square, with a just a touch of rubbing to the gently bumped spine ends; gilt lettering on the spine is as bright as if just issued. [Please see my five images of the actual book.] The interior is creamy bright despite normal pale toning, a few freckles on the front free endpaper, and light penciling by my philosopher-father in the margins of several pages. Curiously, through the binder's fault, two leaves of the index appear out of sequence, but the index is complete. The original printed dust jacket is price-clipped and quite sunned, with several chips, now reinforced archivally.
