Aggiungi al carrelloCondizione: Very good. - A partial sheet of the author's letterhead, approximately 3-1/2 inches high by 5-1/4 inches wide with his address printed in raised lettering at the top, is signed in black ink "Warwick Deeping". The letterhead is slightly unevenly cut with remnants of tape on he verso where it has been removed from an album. Very good. Paperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. This book follows the life of George Washington, acclaimed as a shining example of democratic leadership and courage amidst a backdrop of a young nation finding its identity. The author interweaves accounts of Washington's personal life and aspirations with the tumultuous events of the American Revolution, presenting a compelling narrative of a man shaped by both circumstance and character. The book explores the profound impact of Washington's upbringing, education, and military service on his leadership style, highlighting the tensions between his inherited values and the revolutionary principles he came to embody. Through the author's insightful analysis, readers gain a deeper understanding of the motivations and complexities that drove Washington's actions, revealing the human side of a figure often portrayed as an idealized hero. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format.
