Legatura coeva in piena pergamena molle un po' lisa con minime mende al dorso e qualche macchietta al piatto posteriore. Due trascurabili buchetti al margine bianco del frontespizio, lieve alone e qualche macchietta. Esemplare nel complesso genuino, marginoso e in buono stato di conservazione. Torello Saraina (1475-1550), notaio e giureconsulto veronese, fu uno dei primi e piĆ¹ autorevoli storici della cittĆ  di Verona. Il traduttore Orlando Pescetti (1556-1624), letterato nativo di Marradi (Firenze), svolse la professione di insegnante di grammatica a Verona in una singolare scuola sovvenzionata dal comune e di orientamento vivamente anticonfessionale. Queste due opere uscirono a stampa rispettivamente nel 1542 e nel 1540. Seconda edizione di entrambe le opere; prima edizione in lingua italiana limitatamente alla seconda opera.
