Velkou reprezentativni monografii pripomina Gallery jednu z umeleckych osobnosti, jejiz dilo se podstatne podili na formovani ceske vytvarne kultury od pocatku sedesatych let dodnes, ale ktera byla diky specifickemu zamereni sve tvorby nekdy nepravem opomijena. Je to Lubomir Pribyl, ktery jiz v druhe polovine padesatych let smeroval k moderni oprostene forme a propracoval se k osobite abstrakci. Na samem pocatku sedesatych let pak velice originalne spojil prostredky strukturalni malby s minimalistickou skladbou obrazu, tehdy take zacal v reliefnich obrazech dusledne uplatnovat monochromii, vetsinou stribrnou nebo cernou. Diky tomuto svemu specifickemu zamereni mel jako prvni u nas nejbliz k tem problemum, jake prinaselo na mezinarodni vytvarnou scenu hnuti Zero. V mezinarodnim kontextu se zacal jiz tehdy objevovat predevsim diky svym grafikam, v nichz prehodnotil moznosti tisku z materialove matrice. V prubehu dalsich desetileti zustava Pribyl veren monochromii i uzivani jazyka geometrie a postupne zkouma radu problemu, vychazejicich z linearnich konstrukci a jejich razeni podle urcitych pravidel. Postupem casu se ovsem ve sfere umelcova zajmu objevuji take nektere syntakticky slozitejsi konstrukce. Autorem textu Pribylovy monografie je Jiri Valoch, ktery jeho dilo sleduje od poloviny sedesatych let, kdy jej take poprve prezentoval na vystavach.
