Included in this book is information on Johann's two sisters, Christine and Katharine; his stepmother Marie Katherina Single (nee Bauer) and her family as far they were able to give us details. Those who have compiled this booklet feel it has been a labor of love and hope. that it may be treasured and enjoyed by its readers, especially those who are direct and indirect descendants of the Single family. The occasion for writing this book was the fact that Fred and Anne Single were observing their 50th Wedding Anniversary on July 5, 1980.
