The book was copyrighted by Adolph Wittemann in 1880's and was printed and hand assemble…d by the Albertype Company in NY. Each of the collotypes in the book measure approximately 8 1/4" by 6 1/4". This oblong quarto book measures 12 3/4" x 10 1/4" and is bound in a hand sewn card stock paper cover.Condition: some edge wear, tears, creases and marks to cover. Part of the tie-binding has become loose but should be able to fix quite easily. Foxing to pages with some edge wear, tears and stain marks in places. One plate loose. A nice, rare item.Shipped from the UK.
