This work…aims to investigate to what extent the use of visual aids can be a motivational tool in enhancing students¿ interest in reading literary texts in order to improve their motivation and language skills. To achieve the aim of the study, a mixed-method approach consisted of observation and questionnaire was used to collect the required data. Therefore, an experiment was carried out with a sample group of 60 Master students at Mostaganem university. The analysis of the data indicated that majority of students had positive attitudes for the use of visual aids to read literary texts. Also, observation by the researcher showed the use of visual aids during the lecture was effective. The use of the ICT tools enhanced the students¿ motivation to enjoy the lecture processes better and to achieve the lecture goals higher. The study concludes that the use of visual aids enables the students to engage closely with literary texts.

The instruments that were used for data collection in the study are two questionnaires to 50 students and an interview with 4 teachers. This study contains four chapters. The first two chapters are mainly theoretical and the last two chapters are practical. The findings of the study revealed that most students had high level of CA with the relative contribution of two main reasons: instructional and psychological factors to the situation. The last chapter was mainly meant to present some suggestions and recommendations on to reduce communication apprehension among ESP students and improve their speaking skills.

El análisis de los datos indicó que la mayoría de los estudiantes tenían una actitud positiva hacia el uso de ayudas visuales para leer textos literarios. Además, la observación del investigador demostró que el uso de ayudas visuales durante la clase era eficaz. El uso de las herramientas TIC aumentó la motivación de los estudiantes para disfrutar mejor de los procesos de la clase y alcanzar los objetivos de la misma. El estudio concluye que el uso de ayudas visuales permite a los estudiantes implicarse estrechamente con los textos literarios. 64 pp. Spanisch.

Par conséquent, une expérience a été menée avec un groupe échantillon de 60 étudiants de Master à l'université de Mostaganem. L'analyse des données a indiqué que la majorité des étudiants avaient des attitudes positives pour l'utilisation d'aides visuelles pour lire des textes littéraires. En outre, l'observation par le chercheur a montré que l'utilisation des aides visuelles pendant le cours était efficace. L'utilisation des outils TIC a renforcé la motivation des étudiants à mieux apprécier les processus de cours et à atteindre les objectifs du cours.
