Ausschlaggebend dabei ist der Nutzwert der eingesetzten Tools, d.h. die Lern- und Lehrziele sind diejenigen, die die die Auswahl der Instrumente bestimmen. Videokonferenzen sind mit ihrer Unmittelbarkeit sowie die Austauschmà glichkeiten in Breakout-Räumen, wichtige und unverzichtbare Bestandteile des kollektiven Wissensaufbaus im Online-Unterricht. Um zu mehr Bildungsgerechtigkeit beizutragen, d.h. Inklusivität zu fà rdern und Kurse flexibler und zugänglicher zu machen, sollte man jedoch auch andere Formen im Betracht ziehen. Durch das Aufzeichnen von Vorlesungen oder Erklärungen rückt die Wissensrepräsentation in den Vordergrund und die Struktur der Lerninhalte kann sequentiell gestaltet werden. Die Lernenden kà nnen somit die nicht verstandenen Vortragsabschnitte wiederholen, was zur Steigerung der Motivation beitragen kann. Eine andere Variante ist die Herstellung von bestimmten Produkten (Podcasts, Personenportraits etc.) nicht durch Lehrende, die instruieren, sondern durch die Lernenden selbst. Solche Projekte fà rdern das aktive und soziale Lernen, tragen zur Erweiterung von Handlungsoptionen und gesellschaftlicher Partizipation bei und fà rdern zudem die Medienkompetenz. Somit haben scheinbar kleine Entscheidungen über die von uns verwendeten Technologien einen groÃen Einfluss darauf, wie umfassend und effektiv unser Unterricht ist. Je mehr wir uns dessen bewusst sind, desto mehr kà nnen wir sicherstellen, dass wir aus den richtigen Gründen die richtigen Tools auswählen, um auch im Online-Unterricht fremdsprachliche Kompetenzen aufbauen zu kà nnen.
