Legatura rustica originale con tracce d'uso, abrasioni da scaffale, sfrangiature della carta che riveste i piatti sui bordi, fessura della stessa lungo la cerniera anteriore. Internamente completo e ben conservato, marginoso e fresco, carte bianche (eccetto piccolo alone sul margine delle carte 135 e 137 e macchiolina sul margine di pagina 143. Legatura modesta ma complessivamente genuino e ben conservato.

Verfasser war Commissaire Ordonnateur en chef (Oberzahlmeister) und später Inspecteur aux Revues (Inspektor für die Truppenmusterungen). Diente in den Kriegen der Revolution und des Kaiserreichs, in Italien, Holland, Illyrien und Deutschland. Nach General Scherer hatte er Anteil am Sieg der Franzosen in der Schlacht von Loano, General Joubert nannte ihn den "Vater der Soldaten" und Bonaparte wollte ihn immer bei sich haben.
