Paperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. This book delves into the design of a reinforced concrete retaining wall and abutments for a small bridge. It is based on the real-life project of a bridge constructed at the turn of the 20th century, and provides a detailed and practical account of the design process. The author utilizes the bridge as a case study to illustrate the principles of structural engineering, including the calculation of loads, analysis of stresses, and selection of materials.
