La première de ces monographies a pour objet deux grands tableaux réalisés par un collectif d'artistes, homme…s et femmes, de la région APY (Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara) ainsi que l'installation Kulata Tjuta : Kupi Kupi, due à des artistes de cette même région. Réalisées en 2018, les deux toiles sont, tout comme l'installation, issues d'un processus de production collaboratif, emblématique de la tradition des aborigènes d'Australie. Ces oeuvres majeures, nourries en particulier des histoires mythiques du "Temps du Rêve" , caractéristiques de l'imaginaire de ces peuples, sont les pierres angulaires de la collection qui constitue le coeur de la Fondation Opale. La Fondation Opale, à l'instar de sa fondatrice et cheville ouvrière Bérengère Primat, a une relation particulièrement forte et vivante avec les artistes et les ateliers d'art de cette région d'Australie centrale, où ses représentants se sont rendus à maintes reprises.
