No date on title pages, but preface is dated 1847. Bound in full gilt decorated leather with raised bands and gilt compartments on spine. All edges in gilt. Marbled end papers. No previous owner's names. Book is solid, square, and tight, no cracked hinges or chips. Binding does have minor corner and edge wear with some scuffs. Foxing on the image and edge browning occurs mainly on the early and last plates. Most plates are clean except for some edge browning, not on the image. Text pages are very clean. A massive book that will require additional shipping cost.

Completo delle tavole. Alcune tra le più belle: Vicenza, Venezia, Padova, Pavia, Como, Cortona, Siena, Orvieto, Roma, Napoli, Amalfi, tutte animate e ricchissime di dettagli oppure intraviste da più lontano su una strada di avvicinamento alla città. Legatura con segni di usura ai bordi, scollato il piatto anteriore, fresche ma uniformemente ingiallite le pagine, come facilmente in volumi con questo tipo carta (quelle tra la 17 e la 25 sono interessate da aloni), le tavole risultano invece interessate da una lieve brunitura solo marginalmente e sono ben rappresentate e pulite, volume nell'insieme in buono stato di conservazione.
