Prima edizione
Hardcover. Condizione: As New. Condizione sovraccoperta: Near Fine. First American Edition. 288pp. Stated: "First American Edition 1968". Blue boards with brilliant gilt lettering on spine. Glossy dustwrapper not price-clipped ($4.95), in full front cover alternating blue and green horizontal stripes for names of conversants superimposed in white letters, split title lettering in white over purple across top and bottom front cover, enclosing list of conversants. Only slightest hint of thin line rubbing across top of spine; one place on front cover top edge where a finger caught the dw edge and bent it back with residual nugatory, aspiring curved crease; some intermittent minor, small spot purplish ink smudges to white of rear cover (perhaps incurred during manufacture of purple dw itself): Now in Brodart mylar, which forgives these insolent peccadilloes mightily. Solid copy. Appears Unread: tight binding, sharp corners, no rubbing wear, no previous owner names. Clean text.

Prima edizione Copia autografata
First edition. Octavo, original wrappers. Signed on the title page, "3.3.73 D. Ben Gurion." Ben-Gurion passed away in December of 1973. In fine condition. Housed in a custom folding box. David Ben-Gurion was the primary founder of the State of Israel and the first Prime Minister of Israel. Ben-Gurion's passion for Zionism, which began early in life, led him to become a major Zionist leader and Executive Head of the World Zionist Organization in 1946. As head of the Jewish Agency from 1935, and later president of the Jewish Agency Executive, he was the de facto leader of the Jewish community in Palestine, and largely led its struggle for an independent Jewish state in Mandatory Palestine. On 14 May 1948, he formally proclaimed the establishment of the State of Israel, and was the first to sign the Israeli Declaration of Independence, which he had helped to write. Ben-Gurion led Israel during the 1948 Arabâ"Israeli War, and united the various Jewish militias into the Israel Defense Forces. Subsequently, he became known as "Israel's founding father.".
