Rare French female nude photography book by Ica Vilander. Printed in 1967 in Paris with all text in French by Cecil Saint-Laurent. Near fine copy with very little wear or age to book itself--pages, spine and binding are all straight and clean. Has small ex-libris owl stamp on inside front cover (see photo). Dust jacket is good with age appropriate wear to edges and corners, and in archival protective cover.

Ica Vilander est une femme photographe née en Tchécoslovaquie en 1921. Elle vit à Berlin (Académie des Beaux-Arts). Elle a essentiellement traité le nu artistique. L'album La Femme vue par une femme est un album de vision onirique du corps dénudé de la femme des années 60. On y retrouve l'influence du mouvementent Hippie dans les quelques costumes dont ces femmes sont légèrement vêtues et le psychédélique de quelques prises de vue. Ica Vilander est décédée à Hambourg en 2013.
